Formerly home to the Sloane family, the Hermitage is hidden on the shore of the Lafayette River. The estate encompasses woodlands, gardens, and early 20th century buildings, all of which appear frozen in time. Yet the Hermitage is alive with a colorful new rose garden, changing art exhibitions and events, and a permanent collection of treasures from around the world.
